Bleh, so cutesy. Let it be known though, I only drew this one up for karma. I plan on posting a nastier punch line next week. Anyway, do kids still do that note thing? I only recall seeing it on TV (surprise, I’m a dork) and it could very well be a thing of he past, rendering this comic nonsensical. Ico for that matter, tell me you remember it, real pretty game for the PS2 featuring a little boy with horns and a strange girl who speaks a different language trying to escape this big castle their communities are attempting to sacrifice themselves in. As interesting as that premise may be, this comic really boils down to “They sound funny, ha ha ha.” Oh, and I felt like throwing some references to a few of my favorite web comic personas to salve my boredom in drawing this (I came up with it a long time ago). K.C. Green should be easy to spot and there’s a reference to Kate Beaton too. Reading Days will continue this Friday with a new name, btw. --SergeXIII |
